Create shared belief

Western ideology is beset by many beliefs that don’t hold up. The key one is this idea that humans are unique. Sure, we’re our own species, we definitely have an aptitude for tools. But we are not unique in being conscious. Certainly we are not the masters of the universe by god given decree. So if we change our perception of ourselves to something more befitting rational thought; Can we then create actions that support a richer world? I think we can. Let’s talk about this.

Continuous ideas

One idea supports a solution. That solution requires another idea on how to develop it … each step of implementation requires yet more ideas … it doesn’t stop.

Is this the key to improving civilization? New ideas, new technologies, new flower beds?

Then science says ecosystems which create wealth and health needs to support all life. Diversity is strength.

Look how bees build a hive, each in their different role. Thank you bee hive. This complexity supports diversity far beyond the hive. Hmmm.

Gathering resources

To make honey: you harvest pollen. To harvest pollen: you search for sources. Fly my bee, fly.

Bees make an excellent metaphor for humans. They live socially. They divide roles and responsibilities. They create something greater than themselves and play a larger role in the success of the ecosystem around them than their tiny bodies would suppose.

Humans do the same. Let’s gather together to create new outcomes. Find safer, richer pollen.

Barriers to opportunity

We have a variety of barriers to a richer world. The biggest is probably the belief in ego gratification. If “I” am gratified than that is all that counts. For “I” am the key value in the equation.
